Ms. Pisano is great at explaining the material quickly and concisely. You are expected to come into class having read the and with a basic understanding of the material, so a large portion of class is spent doing practice problems in a group and refining your understanding of the material, which I thought was very helpful. Overall, one of the best math experience I've had. Would recommend.

Pisano is a great teacher. All of her assignments are very fair and based directly on what is taught and expounded upon during group work. Homework can be challenging at times, but really prepares you for the tests and quizzes which is a plus. THE FINAL FOR THIS CLASS IS SIGNIFICANTLY HARDER THAN ANY TEST SHE EVER GIVES. Be prepared.
I absolutely loved Professor Pisano. Calc II is a rough class and is not overly interesting, however, Pisano does a good job at giving you a solid background. You will have Pre-Homeworks before class and then during class Pisano will go over the material again, then you have groupwork which is very helpful. Her tests and grading are fair. Attending class is a must due to the groupwork and clicker questions. If you need extra help Pisano is very approachable and helpful. Overall a pleasant experience for an unpleasant class.
I absolutely loved Pisano. People dig on her PowerPoints, but it allows her more time to explain what is on them when she's not worried about correcting her own chalkboard mistakes.
I had Morris for Calc III and actually enjoyed Pisano more. I gave her a 4 for fun (because I love math). You probably won't think it's a 4, unless you're like me.
Professor Pisano is great! I absolutely loved her!
You NEED to do the homework. If you don't do them, you'll be completely lost. I hadn't taken Calc II before this course, and Professor Pisano was very helpful in her office hours. She really nice and approachable, so getting help is no problem. She's the best for Calc II.
I would recommend Pisano over Abramenko and Sokolovsky. Pisano uses clicker questions to take attendance, but they are free points because they are so easy. Her notes are much better than any other professor's, and her quizzes are usually homework problems. She's the best Calc II teacher!
As others have mentioned, Ms. Pisano truly is an underrated Calc II professor. Her lectures aren't thrilling, but if you have the desire to succeed in the course, you'll listen closely. She's the type of professor that drops hints on what will appear (and what won't) on an exam, which in a class like Calc II is big plus. Her quizzes ALWAYS have at least one problem copied verbatim from the Homework, and the others are very similar. So do the HW! Trust me, if you complete each optional HW assignment, you'll walk out of that class with at least a B+, likely an A. Because the quizzes and tests revolve around the HW. And that's a good deal.
She basically just reads off her slides so class is pointless except for the fact that she has iClickers that count towards your grade based on accuracy. Tests are fair.
Pisano is a nice lady and accommodating should you have an issue, unlike many other professors. I would certainly recommend her over Guadagni. People seem to like Beck the most, who I can't say anything about because I have never interacted with her. You can't go wrong with Pisano if you have to take calc II. The course is tough of course, you might work your ass off for only a B, but that's life.
I took AP Calc AB and AP Calc BC in high school so I had already learned almost everything that was covered in this course. I was able to easily follow along with Pisano's lectures but for those who are unfamiliar with the topics she may move a little fast. Pisano writes all of her own tests so the material on tests lines up well with what you learn in class. She is a very sweet, underrated professor and is extremely helpful during office hours.
