I would recommend taking Professor Pisano's class if you need to take calc II. Pisano's lectures make the material easy to understand, and the tests in this class are not too difficult. While I definitely would not call this a fun class, Professor Pisano does a good job explaining the potentially difficult material.

Professor Pisano is heavily underrated. Everyone always fights to get into Professor Beck's class for calc 2 and while I have heard great things about Beck, I had her for a couple classes and her teaching methods just didn't click for me. I thoroughly enjoy Pisano's methods because they suited me better. She teaches via powerpoint which some people don't like but it's good because she puts them all on collab AND she also does problems on the board so she works out problems and doesn't just do it ALL on the slides. If you can take it with Pisano, do it. Calc II is a difficult class but Pisano is more than willing to see you succeed!

Ms. Pisano is extremely underrated among Calc II professors, in my opinion. She is extremely clear in her lectures and beyond helpful in office hours. She is genuinely interested in ensuring that her students understand the material and do well in the class. Calc II is hard in general, but her instruction definitely was enough to get me a decent grade in the class. DO the suggested problems for sure if you want to score high on her tests and that should honestly be enough. I would highly highly recommend taking this class with her.

Pisano is honestly amazing. I don't understand why so many people dislike her. She is really helpful if you go to her office hours. And no one should get below a 100% for the clicker questions because she puts all them on collab before the class. I love her method of teaching. And I thought Calc II would be a LOT more difficult than it is :D

Professor Pisano is severely underrated. She is witty and interesting. She is exceptional in office hours. The material is challenging, but with dedication you can do very well.

I RECOMMEND THIS CLASS. Prof. Pisano put the lectures on the computer so you could print them out for the class. The use of Clicker questions kept you interested in the lectures. She graded fairly and put the solutions to tests and quizzes on Collab. Plus she seemed to like me despite the fact that I sat in the front and talked a lot.

The class is very difficult, so doing the homework problems are a must. However, Pisano is very knowledgeable about the subject and conveys that knowledge to her students well. She tries her best to make herself available to students and responds to e-mails very quickly and frequently. Her quizzes are relatively easy compared to the tests, which assess your understanding to a much higher degree. Stay on top of things and you'll be fine.

The class, as known to everyone else, is the dreadesd weed out class. However, in my opinion, after the withdraw deadline, the class became a bit more understandable and easier. It is a hard class though; do your homework. Professor Pisano is a nice teacher, she may make a few board mistakes though but nothing big. If you want to take this class, don't let others get in your head saying Pisano's bad; shes as good as any other of the teachers too.
