This is definitely a tough class, but it is not as hard as everyone makes it out to be. Sure it is a 'weeder' but stay on top of everything and you should be fine.

hard class no joke!
Pisano gets a bad rep, but she's not that bad.. Just make sure you study and go to office hours. STUDY AND GO TO OFFICE HOURS. She teaches kinda dry, but she takes questions during class.
Pisano is one of my favorite calculus teachers. She is very easy to follow, is fair on all assignments, and won't complicate things like most math teachers seem to do.
Pisano knows her stuff, but is not always the clearest in describing things (Sometimes it's a lack of time). Is very willing to help in office hours. Likes iClicker questions that I found very hard. Pisano does well overall with such a hard weeder class.
She is a horrible teacher, she has no (obvious) love for the subject, but she is certainly knowledgeable. Go to office hours and she will help you. Pay attention to the little shit she says during the semester that you should know because 8 times out of 10 it will show up to bite you in the ass on the final.
She is an awesome professor. She help her students any way possible to help them do well. Although if you are the kind of students who likes their professors to do every line of math on the board then you are better off with professor Beck. But if you want very structured lectures and slides then this is the class where you want to be
An interesting class if you get into the hw, but otherwise a straight F.
Pisano isn't the best at explaining things, but her slides definitely make up for it. Just studying the powerpoint the night before a quiz can earn anyone an A. The tests are pretty hard, though. Looking at her old tests are probably the best resource to prepare.
Pisano isn't the best teacher. If you need things thoroughly explained to you, then you should definitely go to her office hours. She teaches from powerpoints which I personally had a problem with. The class is pretty difficult. Make sure to do the homework and ask lots of questions. If you don't understand the material, don't let it go too long before you get help or you'll never recover.
